  • The Sons of the American Legion will be serving up some BBQ chicken dinners!!!

    Dates: Aug 23, Oct 4, and Nov 8.

    Price: $15.00 per meal

    Meal consists of one piece of BBQ chicken, baked beans, and your choice of macaroni salad or cole slaw.

    Meals will be served at noon on each date and will go until sold out.

  • American Legion Butler County Council Golf Scramble-August 2, 2026

    Registration 12 PM/Shotgun starts at 1 PM.

    $100.00 per person/$400.00 per team (100 players max)

    Registration includes: 18 holes of golf and cart, hot dog, chips, and drink at turn. Dinner afterwards.

    Contest prizes and giveaways

    Benefits local programs of the American Legion, Veterans Affairs, National Security, Americanism and Children and Youth.

    Applications on bulletin board in entry way to canteen.

Since our charter in 1946, our American Legion Post has been welcoming Veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.

To the wonderful patriotic citizens of the Butler community.  Monies raised are given back to the community. Help us to continue sponsoring Scholarships for our children; give aid and assistance to our local needy Veterans, and their families. Help us to continue to support financially worthy community programs and projects.
